Monique and Grant’s engagement session in Heidelberg felt peaceful and incredibly personal.

A soft rain passed just before we began, leaving the garden fresh and quiet with that calm atmosphere that only a rainy afternoon can create. Her parents’ home was the perfect place for their session. It felt natural and familiar, and every corner suited them perfectly.

They slipped into the shoot with such ease. They are warm and grounded people, and their connection shows in the small moments. The way they laugh together. The constellation tattoos they have for each other. The gentle way they interact without even thinking about it. Including their dogs added a real sense of home to the session, and those moments felt honest and true to who they are.

Just as we finished, the rain started again, almost as if the day opened a perfect window for us and then quietly closed it.
